From historic WCF registration records in Istanbul to Kanaani Diplomacy, Brooklyn recognition and a major boxing broadcast.
BROOKLYN, NY | October 27, 2026
The Royal House of Kanaani, recognized by World Book of Records London for its documentation of seven purebred Kanaani cats, is advancing a mission of feline preservation, international cooperation and cultural heritage. Two kittens born October 5 have brought its reported purebred population to nine. The Royal House also draws symbolic inspiration from the golden cat associated with King Solomon’s throne in Targum Sheni to Megillat Esther; this is a cultural interpretation, not a claim of biological descent.

Türkiye: A Record Worth Preserving
The World Kanaani Organization (TWKO) warmly thanks the organizers of the WCF International Europe Continent Show in Istanbul on October 9, 2026. Queen Haifa (entry 66) and Princess Neshama (entry 65) were registered but unable to travel. Their certificates were nevertheless made available through the WCF system, with no judging results or awards. The documents will be preserved in the breed’s historical archive.
“Türkiye has a remarkable culture of appreciation for cats. We thank the organizers for preserving these records. Sometimes history begins not with a trophy, but with a document,” said Rabbi Mikhail Salita, Royal Custodian of the Royal House of Kanaani and Animal Chaplain.
International Expansion Through Kanaani Diplomacy
TWKO is open to discussions with qualified partners in Türkiye and elsewhere about establishing new centers for Kanaani preservation. A future prince and princess of the Royal House could serve as symbolic feline ambassadors, subject to genetic planning, veterinary requirements and animal-welfare safeguards. No transfer agreement has been concluded. The Royal House is also considering authorized commemorative reproductions of the Istanbul certificates, signed and accompanied by paw-print impressions.

An Active International Calendar
October 29 | Brooklyn Borough Hall: The Salita Foundation, under whose umbrella TWKO operates, anticipates a Certificate of Proclamation connected with National Cat Day.
November 7 | DAZN: A possible Royal House of Kanaani appearance at a Salita Promotions boxing event featuring a WBA championship main event, subject to final arrangements.
November | Europe: TWKO is exploring its next major cat exhibition.
Following their exhibition results in Finland, Queen Haifa and Princess Haya led the Adult and Kitten/Junior Kanaani categories, respectively, in WCF Best Cat 2026 rankings displayed in October. “Championships celebrate achievement. Documentation preserves history. International friendship creates the future,” Salita said.
